So the greatest show on earth, which is Trinidad Carnival, left our heads spinning from both work and play. The never-ending cascade of fetes and events accompanied one of the busiest times for the SAYSM brand to date.
We launched our carnival mini-collection, taking inspiration from this year’s biggest soca hits by Trinidad’s favourite artistes – Machel Montano and Bunji Garlin.
The limited edition shirts flew – virtually and literally – with our trini customers repping proudly throughout the season, and some visiting friends packing them to take abroad.
One of the saturdays we embarked on a mission of somewhat a nation-wide delivery, which took us to places way out of our own hood – to say the very least (cheers, Waze!)
We also paired up with Trinidad’s beauty, fashion, style – and all-round star – Anya Ayoung-Chee for a limited collabo SAYSM X ANYA collection, which featured in her cANYAval store – both online and in a physical pop-up shop – to the great demand and sold-out success.
